RIM acquired Newbay for $100 million

RIM has aquired Newbay, an Ireland based digital company for $100 million. Newbay has wide range of products such as Photo & Video album, digital vault, smart address book, organizer, social networking gateway and many more, while Newbay also already have steady client including T-Mobile, Deutsche Telekom, US Cellular, LG and more.

I wonder what product that will come for our Blackberry smartphones and Playbook, but I’m sure RIM will do their best.
