This is how to remove Activation Required in your unlocked Blackberry Tour 9630. For Blackberry new comer users probably gonna confuse about this.
Don’t worry, this is the solution:
- Type ##000000 and press yes (like you wanna make phone call)
- In this CDMA Service Edit Screen, change Mobile Directory number to your phone number including your country code,see picture above, 62 is Indonesia. Press menu and save. Phone will restart, and finish.

I did the same on my Sprint Tour 9630 but nothing happened, it said “invalid password”!! Any suggestion please?
it’s not working for sprint, for sprint you have to buy msl code, do search in google blackberry msl code unlock or you can go to unlock.bb
This works on Verizon Wireless only, sometimes works for US Cellular, for Sprint you need to buy the MSL code, you can check out at unlock.bb
After reset , activation required appear. replace with provider.
but why I cannot check my balance??.. normally used *129# will come blance, but this time is called.
any suggestion for solved this problem.

after i did this to my phone, now i cannot call and send sms.
instead of dialing: +86138++++++++
it will dial +8638++++++++ without the 1
do you know why?
